The Grout Museum of History and Science, 503 South Street, Waterloo, and the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium, 322 Washington Street, Waterloo will be having a Museum Madness day on Saturday, April 23 from 9 AM – 5 PM.
At the Grout Museum, learn the incredible story of Anne Frank. Examine WWII and the Holocaust through the eyes of her family. While at the Museum, explore the two temporary exhibitions; Anne Frank: A History for Today and Iowa’s Ties to the Holocaust.
At the Imaginarium, learn about extreme weather. Explore tornadoes, what they are, what causes them, and more. Dive into the dangers of floods, including the floods of 2008. Try out some hands-on weather activities and watch the Imaginarium’s Wild Weather science demonstration.
Admission will be FREE on April 22-23, 2016 in celebration of Earth Day. This opportunity was made possibly thanks to the NASA Iowa Space Grant Consortium.
