Event Description
Emil Tyden accomplished many things in his life, including over 200 patents. He bought land in North Central Iowa and built eight different farms between 1915 and 1940. You will enjoy a tour of the large 140′ x 40′ barn, many pieces of horsedrawn equipment, a large cement corncrib, a summer kitchen and family farm museum. Plus view a 20 minute documentary on the man that built this and seven other farms and the many gardens.
The tour is by reservation only and the cost is $20.00 per person.
