2024 Performing Artists

Elisabeth Maurus—known by her stage name, Lissie—is an American folk rock singer-songwriter, a poignant performer, and Paste magazine’s #1 best new solo artist of 2010. Lissie has released five studio albums, two live albums, a piano compilation album, and six EPs.

William Elliott Whitmore is a singer-songwriter/banjoist/guitarist/drum-stompin’ solo act from Lee County, Iowa. He has released six full-length albums that seamlessly meld country, blues, folk, and punk styles.

David Huckfelt is a singer/lyricist/activist and founding front-man of Minneapolis indie-folk cult favorites The Pines. His new record “Room Enough, Time Enough” is a new work of folk songs, activism, and desert Native Americana, a record about restoring balance, space and attention, peace and equality, redeeming the marginalized, and remembering the forgotten.

Joe and Vicki Price are both members of the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame. Displaying a joyous, disarming demeanor, Joe has the ability to play the doors off most anyone else in the room. Bold and brassy, Vicki’s voice has elicited comparisons to Loretta Lynn and June Carter. This duo is more than the sum of their impressive parts, and when these two musicians take the stage together, magic inevitably happens.

Annie Humphrey is an Anishinaabe singer/songwriter from the Leech Lake Indian Reservation. She has four children, two grandsons, and a handsome, Indian, horseman husband. They inspire her spirit and her art.
