Come feast on the farm! Join us Sunday, September 11, 2016, for Slow Food Des Moines’ annual fundraising dinner. We’ll meet at The Shops at Roosevelt and share a chartered bus ride out to The Wallace Country Life Center near Orient, Iowa.
After a tour of the grounds, we’ll enjoy a seven-course dinner, created from the harvest of the Wallace Center farm,* and prepared by eight of Central Iowa’s best chefs, bakers and brewers. The 2016 Slow Food Des Moines Farm Dinner is by reservation only.
Tickets are $150, and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Proceeds from the dinner will be shared by Slow Food Des Moines’ 2017 fund and The Wallace Centers of Iowa.
