Event Description
The Traer Historical Museum will host a presentation by author Cherie Dargan at 1:30 p.m. She will speak about her latest book in the “Grandmother’s Treasure” series: ” Book Four: The Recollection”, bringing family, quilting and history alive. The Ripley Church in Traer will host a quilt show and luncheon that day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. showcasing “The Stories of Those Who Stitch”. The Traer library is hosting a quilt block painting contest and activities for children. These events are to celebrate National Quilting Day and National Quilting Month.
