Event Description

Explore the symbolism, design and uses of aprons through time. Living History Farms hosts this Mid-America Arts Alliance traveling exhibition, featuring 51 vintage and contemporary examples of aprons. From the 1900s through the present, aprons reflect changing attitudes towards work, gender roles, and cultural heritage. Exhibit is included with regular Living History Farms admission. Exhibit runs June 16-August 11, 2016 during regular hours.
