Event Description
Most of Czech food lovers have heard about kolaches. In this class, you will be introduced to a version that is not so commonly known in the U.S., but it is incredibly delicious and popular in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Valassky frgal has a shape like a pizza, but the dough is clearly a special kolach dough. The topping is usually at least 50% of all kolach, so if you like a lot of toppings, this will be your favorite. The final touch is a delicate topping of streusel that will bring this kolach to perfection. Part of this class will be the preparation of fillings from scratch: plum and pear.
Note: Suitable for vegetarians.
