Do you think your site deserves to be recognized as the Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area People’s Choice “Site of the Year” or do you know of any other deserving Partner Sites? Complete a Nomination Form and tell us why in 250 words or less (Please note this narrative will be used to promote nominees and be visible to the public, so check your spelling). Nominations due by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26. All of the 113 designated Partner Sites are eligible to enter, though we ask that sites who have won the previous year take a one year moratorium before entering again. Since you are the best advocate for your site, self-nominations are strongly encouraged.
Voting will be open to the public at www.silosandsmokestacks.org from March 16-March 30.
The top three finalists as of March 22 will be invited as our guests to the Annual Golden Silo Awards Luncheon on April 1 at the Kinze Innovation Center in Williamsburg, where the winner will be announced and receive the traveling award for People’s Choice “Site of the Year.”
