Intern will collect archival material in relation to ISU Extension. This project coincides with the ISU Extension 100th anniversary. Materials gathered will be used on the web to celebrate the event.
· Motor Mill Historic Site, Elkader
Intern will develop an Interpretive Plan for Motor Mill, along with support materials to assist in education projects at the mill.
· National 19th Amendment Society, Charles City
Using an apple orchard as an interpretive tool, intern will host programs, develop curriculum and facilitate a summer camp.
· Seed Savers Exchange, Heritage Farm, Decorah
Intern will receive training in hand pollination and help write educational materials in relation to pollination.
· Wagaman Mill & Museum, Lynnville
Intern will develop historical agricultural interpretation at mill. They will also collect oral stories related to the mill, along with artifacts to develop interpretive programs and exhibits.
