Event Description
Explore the importance of corn to farmers in the 19th century. Help shell and grind corn at the 1900 Farm. Walk into the corn fields to survey the potential corn crop and see the tools needed to process corn in the past. Take a peek in the farmhouse as staff prepare a farmhands’ dinner, take a horse-drawn wagon ride, and watch harvesting machinery demonstrations. All activities are included in regular admission to Living History Farms.
