Event Description
Enjoy a Victorian holiday open house filled with Christmas cheer! Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride up the hill to the Flynn Mansion. This original 1870 Victorian home will be decorated for the season and bustling with preparations and music. Decorate a greeting card, make a Victorian holiday ornament and peek in the guest bedrooms. Help trim the tree while music fills the parlor, and cookies await in the kitchen for frosting. Then take a ride to the Church of the Land for an old fashioned holiday social with dancing and music by the Barn Owl Band. Historic chocolate demonstrations by American Heritage Chocolate, taffy pulls, children’s crafts, and Santa Claus make the Visitor Center festive, and The Marketplace Museum Store will be open for holiday shopping (from noon-8pm).
