Event Description
Celebrate a historic Independence Day in the town of Walnut Hill. 1876 marks the first centennial of the United States, and Living History Farms’ Independence Day truly shows what this day meant to those in the 19th century—a day of family fun and games! Special activities include a reading of the Declaration of Independence, a parade through town, a Walnut Hill Bluestockings game, old-fashioned games (stilts, water brigade, sack races), and printing of the Declaration of Independence on our vintage press.
