Event Description
The Motor Motor 5k/10K, hosted by Clayton County Conservation in partnership with the Turkey River Recreational Corridor, offers a “trail mix,” beginning and ending at the Motor Mill historic site.
The 10K route runs along the rolling hills of the crushed-lime trail with scenic views of Clayton County’s bucolic fields, forests, and streams. The 5K route features a rugged and challenging adventure through the singletrack and firebreak trails around Motor Mill, with over 900′ of elevation gain/loss to challenge even the sturdiest of trail runners.
Proceeds from this year’s race will go towards the construction of a modern campground at Osborne Park, a project with an estimated cost of $800,000 so… bring a friend or ten!
