Cost is free for Silos & Smokestacks Partner Sites, Emerging Sites, Board Members & Partnership Panel. For those not affiliated with Silos & Smokestacks, cost is $20/registrant.

Keynote message by Debra Reid:

Agriculture Landscapes as Public Attractions

Debra Reid, Curator of Agriculture and the Environment for The Henry Ford, curates collections documenting farming from stoop labor to internal combustion engines to the production revolution, and back again to organic, slow food and grow-local alternatives. She has experience and has published pieces about K-12 pedagogy and agriculture. She is the author of Interpreting Agriculture at History Museums and Historic Sites and has over thirty years of experience working in museums. She holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University and M.A.s from Baylor University and State University of New York/Cooperstown Graduate Program in History Museum Studies.
